Muzeum kutilství Polná
Kutilství hrálo v Československu před rokem 1989 významnou roli. Spousta dnes běžných výrobků byla pro většinu lidí nedostupná a touha po nich vedla pravděpodobně k tomu, že si je kutilové amatérsky vyráběli. Materiál se sháněl těžko, mnoho věcí nemohl obyčejný občan vůbec koupit. Poněkud volnější systém evidence v tehdejších podnicích však umožňoval získat neoficiálně všechny potřebné materiály i součástky. Kutilové také prokazovali neobyčejnou nápaditost v tom, jak použít věci určené k jinému účelu tak, aby výrobek fungoval.
Zejména v 70. a 80. létech 20. století platilo okřídlené rčení o zlatých českých ručičkách. Českoslovenští kutilové vytvořili snad vše, na co si vzpomenete. Zdá se, že není obor, ve kterém nenajdeme kutilský výrobek. Mezi masově amatérsky vyráběné přístroje patřily například sekačky na trávu, cirkulárky, nabíječky autobaterií, elektrické svářečky, rychlovařiče na vodu atd. Vznikaly také zahradní traktůrky, a někdy i naprosté unikáty jako amatérské osobní automobily nebo brýle proti migréně.
Tuto zajímavou dobu mapuje Muzeum kutilství Polná, které již vlastní přes 900 exponátů a sbírku stále rozšiřuje. Všechny exponáty mají svůj evidenční list s popisem historie vzniku, rokem výroby a jménem autora. Až dnes tak někteří kutilové získali zadostiučinění za skvělé nápady, technická řešení a zručnost umístěním svého výrobku v muzeu. Zájem o další exponáty je trvalý. Každý může přispět do historie kutilství a věnovat svůj výtvor.
Kutilství ještě čeká na své historiky, kteří tento fenomén zmapují, prozkoumají a vyhodnotí jeho přínos pro společnost.
The Do-It-Yourself Work Museum Polná
The do-it-yourself Work always played an important role in the Czechoslovakia before 1989. Plenty of currently usual products were out of reach for most people and the desire to get them led very likely to the fact that handymen made them at home. Material was difficult to obtain, there were many things that ordinary people could not buy at all. Somewhat less stringent stock records system in the companies of that time made it possible to get all the needed materials and parts unofficially. The do-it-yourselfers also showed unusual inventiveness by using things destined for other purposes in a way to make the product work.
Particularly in the 70´s and 80´s of the 20th century, a figurative phrase related to golden Czech hands was applied. Czechoslovak do-it-yourselfers were able to create probably everything you can imagine. There seems to be no area in which a do-it-yourself work could not be found. Among many mass home-made appliances were for instance lawn mowers, disk saws, battery chargers, electric welders, water cookers etc. Also small garden tractors and sometimes totally unique products, such as home-made passenger cars or anti migraine glasses, were produced.
The Do-It-Yourself Work Museum Polná is mapping this interesting period and continuously enlarging its existing collection of 900 exhibits. Each exhibit has its own file record with a description of the history of the product creation, year of production and the author´s name. Only today, after having placed their products in the museum, some of the do-it-yourselfers could receive appreciation for their splendid ideas, technical solutions and skills. We will continue to collect further exhibits. Everybody can contribute to the history of do-it-yourself work and donate his/her work to the museum.
The do-it-yourself work is still waiting for its historians who will map this phenomenon, examine it and appraise its contribution to society.
Bastlermuseum Polná
Das Bastlerwesen spielte in der Tschechoslowakei vor dem Jahre 1989 eine bedeutende Rolle. Viele der heute üblichen Produkte waren für die meisten Leute unzugänglich, und das Verlangen danach führte wahrscheinlich dazu, dass Bastler sich diese amateurmäßig selbst herstellten. Es war schwierig, Material zu besorgen, viele Dinge konnte ein normaler Bürger überhaupt nicht kaufen. Ein etwas lockereres Erfassungssystem in den damaligen Unternehmen ermöglichte jedoch die Beschaffung aller notwendigen Materialien und Bauteile. Die Bastler legten auch einen ungewöhnlichen Einfallsreichtum an den Tag, wenn es darum ging, für einen anderen Verwendungszweck bestimmte Dinge so zu benutzen, dass das Produkt funktionierte.
Insbesondere in den 70er und 80er Jahren des 20.Jahrhunderts galt das geflügelte Wort von den goldenen tschechischen Händchen. Tschechoslowakische Bastler stellten alles her, was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Es gibt wohl keinen Bereich, in dem wir nicht ein Bastlerprodukt finden. Zu den massenhaft amateurmäßig hergestellten Geräten gehörten beispielsweise Rasenmäher, Kreissägen, Ladegeräte für Autobatterien, elektrische Schweißgeräte, Wasserkessel usw. Es entstanden auch Gartentraktoren und manchmal auch einzigartige Produkte wie PKWs oder eine Brille gegen Migräne.
Mit dieser interessanten Zeit befasst sich das Bastlermuseum in Polná, das bereits über mehr als 900 Exponate verfügt und seine Sammlung ständig erweitert. Für jedes Ausstellungsstück gibt es ein Nachweisblatt mit Beschreibung seiner historischen Entstehung, dem Herstellungsjahr und dem Namen des Autors. Erst heute erhalten so einige Bastler Anerkennung für ihre bemerkenswerten Einfälle, technischen Lösungen und Geschicklichkeit durch Platzierung ihrer Produkte im Museum. Es besteht langfristig Interesse an weiteren Exponaten. Jeder kann zur Geschichte des Bastlerwesens beitragen und uns seine Kreation widmen.
Das Bastlerwesen wartet noch auf seine Historiker, die sich mit dem Phänomen beschäftigen, es untersuchen und seinen Gewinn für die Gesellschaft beurteilen.
